According to Tom Pelissero, the Kansas City Chiefs have informed former Detroit Lions defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs that he is being released. The move comes after Buggs had several run-ins with the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the latest of which includes a second-degree domestic violence accusation.
As detailed by AL.com, Buggs has had a series of offseason legal issues over the last two offseasons. He allegedly shoved a police officer amidst a dispute regarding the overcrowdedness of Buggs’ business—a hookah lounge. He also had an altercation at the lounge that allegedly ended with Buggs and his brother pointing a gun at a car.
