At this point, it’s no surprise that the Detroit Lions are looking to add some running back help. Kerryon Johnson’s season has been placed on ice after the Lions placed him on IR following knee surgery. Last week’s starter—the recently-added Tra Carson—is currently nursing a hamstring injury of his own.
So the Lions are looking. They went hunting for a running back at the trade deadline, but came up empty. They’ve added a few through the waiver wire in the first two months of the season. Now, they’re searching for some free agents working their way back from injury.
