Last week, the Detroit Lions were keeping their eyes on a couple of slot receiver after trading away Golden Tate. They reportedly worked out Bruce Ellington and Jeremy Kerley.
Now it appears their turning their attention towards a much different type of receiver. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Lions worked out Brandon Marshall.
Marshall was released by the Seahawks after the Week 8 game against the Lions. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll told reporters they had to release him because they needed more help on special teams, but he insisted the 6-foot-5 receiver still has something left in the tank.
