According to ESPN’s Seth Walder, the Detroit Lions have hired Charlie Adkins to be their new senior director of football administration. He fills the hole left by the vacancy of Brandon Sosna, who was hired as the Washington Commanders senior vice president of football operations last month. Sosna was one of the lead points on contract negotiations in Detroit, and was undoubtedly paramount to the Lions’ extensions of Jared Goff, Penei Sewell, and Amon-Ra St. Brown this offseason.
Adkins comes to the Lions after spending the last seven years with the Arizona Cardinals.
