Report: Detroit Lions interviewed Marvin Lewis for head coaching job

While the Detroit Lions general manager search is moving along nicely, all has been quiet on their search for the new head coach. That is, until now. According to NFL Network, the Lions interviewed for Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis on Thursday. Lewis is the first-known candidate to interview for the job thus far.

Lewis has been out of the NFL since 2018, when he was fired from Cincinnati after a 16-year run as their head coach. Over that time, he built up a 131-122-3 record, won the division four times, but never won a single playoff game in seven chances.
