The Detroit Lions underwent their first day of organized team activities on Monday, and by the end of the business day, it appears they have added another player as well. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicles, the Lions have claimed wide receiver Chris Lacy off of waivers.
Lacy was waived by the New England Patriots on Friday after signing to a UDFA deal after the draft. He never made it to OTAs for the Patriots, but he’ll get a shot in Detroit.
Lacy was a four-year player for Oklahoma State, but only provided significant contributions in his final two years.
