It appears the Detroit Lions will be without yet another key weapon for Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day Classic against the Houston Texans. Both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport are reporting that Lions running back D’Andre Swift is not expected to play as he continues to recover from a concussion.
Swift joins wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola as key Lions players on offense that will not play this week. Last week against the Carolina Panthers without Swift, Amendola and Golladay, the Lions were shut out for the first time in over 10 years—against a bad Panthers defense, no less.
