Free agent tight end Charles Clay has agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday afternoon.
Former Bills’ tight end Charles Clay is signing a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million that includes a $350,000 signing bonus with the Arizona Cardinals, per source. Clay was heading into the last year of a 5-year $38 million deal signed in 2015.

Per Schefter, the deal will be worth up to $3.25 million. It also includes a $350 thousand signing bonus which may help Clay’s odds of staying on the roster when it comes to cut day at the end of training camp.
