Joique Bell worked out for his old team last week but never got a job offer. Now the former Detroit Lions running back will face his old mates this week.
According to NFL Network, the Chicago Bears signed Bell today to add depth to their banged up running back room.
Bell played parts of five seasons with the Lions from 2011-15 but was cut this off-season after two straight injury riddled years.
The Lions brought Bell in for a workout last week after Ameer Abdullah suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury, but did not sign the Benton Harbor native at that time.
