Growing up the son of an Air Force major taught Ian Wells quite a bit about the value of hard work.
About the time that Wells was in fourth grade, his father, Kevin, started waking him up early most mornings to help with chores around the house.
“On the weekends, before we could go out and play outside, we’d have to wash the car, mow the yard, clean the rooms, clean the house,” Wells said. “We had to get up at 6 o’clock, even on the weekends. And then, Sunday nights, if we’d have clothes that had to be ironed, we’d have to iron our clothes for the whole week.
