The Detroit Lions chose the worst time to have their sloppiest game of the season. Their season has come to an end after a loss riddled with mistakes to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
The Lions did just about everything wrong in this game. Their defense barely forced a punt all night, the offense had a disaster of a trick play, Jared Goff turned the ball over four times, and Detroit even had a horrible too many men penalty on a critical fourth down.
In the end, it’s a terribly disappointing way for Detroit’s 15-2 season to come to an end, and many big questions await them in the offseason, including the fate of both their coordinators.
