The Detroit Lions' matchup with the Arizona Cardinals Sunday certainly lived up to the hype.

Hype, of course, referring to the matchup's rating of 2.7 out of 100 given by ESPN's Football Power Index.

Both offenses struggled mightily and combined for for just 497 yards of offense, but the Lions made plays when it counted, and escaped Arizona with a 17-3 victory.

The Lions' defense held the Cardinals to 61 rushing yards and allowed just 9.2 yards per Josh Rosen completion. Darius Slay returned an interception for a touchdown in the third quarter.
