What happened: The Detroit Lions offense did what they were supposed to do against a bad New Orleans defense on Monday Night Football – they scored.
Matthew Stafford and Co. scored early and often, and when it was all said and done, it was enough to escape New Orleans with a 35-27 win on Monday Night Football.
It was Detroit’s first win on the road on Monday Night since 1994 in Dallas.
Stafford threw three first-half touchdown passes, two to Golden Tate and one to rookie fullback Michael Burton, which was his first touchdown as a professional.
