The Detroit Lions have found a replacement for their clutch kicker.
Ex-Cincinnati Bengals kicker Randy Bullock said on Twitter late Thursday night that he is joining the Lions as Matt Prater's replacement. NFL Network first reported the news.
"We are incredibly excited and thankful for the opportunity to join the Detroit Lions organization!" Bullock wrote as part of a good-bye message to the Bengals. "I can't wait to work with Dan Campbell, Dave Fipp, and the entire Detroit Lions staff!"
Prater signed a two-year deal Wednesday with the Arizona Cardinals, where he reunites with his former special teams coach with the Denver Broncos, Jeff Rodgers.
