MOBILE, Ala. -- When it comes to his ability to find personnel that meshes with how the Detroit Lions want to play defense, new general manager Bob Quinn said “there’s going to be no bumps in the road on that at all.”
The New England Patriots ran a 3-4 defense for years while Quinn was a scout in the organization, but Quinn said he actually has been procuring players for a multiple defensive front for years.
“People have asked me that. I’ll say it a hundred different ways, but we’re really not a 3-4 defense (in New England),” Quinn said.
