Glover Quin grabbed an apron and served as a guest griller at a charity event last year to help bring awareness to domestic violence issues, but the Detroit Lions safety said today that the NFL Players Association had no choice but to support Greg Hardy in his return to the field.
Hardy, the Dallas Cowboys defensive end, missed most of last season while on the commissioner's exempt list after he was accused of physically assaulting his former girlfriend.
Hardy, who was found guilty in a bench trial but later had the charges dismissed after his accuser wouldn't testify in a jury trial, was suspended 10 games by the NFL in April.
