DETROIT -- The Lions began their preseason finale by getting flagged for defensive holding, and allowing a 41-yard pass anyway. They finished the half by throwing a pick-six, then getting flagged on the 2-point conversion.
Then after a second stop, getting flagged again.
Detroit trailed 25-0. After one half. Against the Cleveland Browns.
You know, a team that has won a game -- just one -- in two years.
The Lions capped their ugly preseason with an even uglier 35-17 loss Thursday night against the Browns at Ford Field. It means very little, of course.
