NBA.com's Scott Howard-Cooper compiles a rookie ladder each week during the season, but he also releases a summer league version.
And after the completion of the Orlando Summer Pro League, the Rocky Mountain Review and the Las Vegas Pro Summer League, he put Johnson at No. 1.
He wrote: "Johnson locked up No. 1 without ever being threatened by the Las Vegas crowd. His underwhelming finale in Orlando of 10 points on three-of-10 shooting does not diminish the positives of a very good summer league.
