Detroit Lions running back LeGarrette Blount won a Super Bowl with Philadelphia earlier this year. If he wanted to go to the White House to celebrate the victory on Tuesday, he couldn't have.
Because the President disinvited Blount's former team Monday.
Blount didn't want to talk to the media Tuesday after practice. Nor did he want to talk about the NFL's new national anthem policy last week.
"No comment," he told reporters.
He gave the same "no comment" when asked about Trump's reaction to the policy — the President suggested that players who didn't stand for the anthem didn't deserve to live in the country.
