For Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes and coach Dan Campbell, the next day and change will be agonizing. After 90 players gave their blood, sweat, and tears for the past month, the Lions must opt to cut 37 players in an instant, and even with a 16-man practice squad, that means at least 21 players will no longer be employed by the Lions by the end of the week, likely more.
On this week’s PODcast, we tried to put ourselves in the shoes of Holmes and Campbell. Several of these decisions will be relatively easy.
