Two very important pieces to the Lions’ offense and defense returned to the practice field on Thursday.
After sitting out Wednesday’s practice, receiver Golden Tate (quad) and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shoulder) were back in action. The Lions listed both players as officially “limited” on the injury report.
Tate seemed to tweak his quad during a punt return last week. Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said he hasn’t once second-guessed his decision to use Tate on punt return.
“Football, it’s not two-hand touch,” Caldwell said.
