The Detroit Lions have severely missed the blocking along the edges that tight end Brandon Pettigrew provides them in both run and pass protection.
Pettigrew has missed the last three games due to a hamstring injury, but returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering the injury Week 1 in San Diego.
He was listed as limited, so we’ll have to monitor his status as the week carries on, but it’s certainly a good sign that he's at least back practicing.

Linebacker DeAndre Levy was a full participant to start this week after being limited all of last week.
