PRACTICE REPORT: James Ihedigbo returns

The Lions felt the loss of safety James Ihedigbo last week vs. Chicago and are hopeful they’ll have their play-making strong safety back in the starting lineup this week against Minnesota.

Ihedigbo returned to practice Thursday after sitting out the Chicago game and the first day of practice this week (Wednesday) with a quad injury. He was listed as limited.

Ihedigbo is one of the better tacklers on the team, which could come in handy with Adrian Peterson and the Vikings' potent rushing attack coming to town. Ihedigbo's also among the league leaders in forced fumbles. He led the Lions with nine tackles and a forced fumble in the first matchup between these two teams in Week 2.
