Poll: Which Lions roster decision was the most surprising?

The Lions have their 53-man roster set, at least until waivers process and they try to add from the pool of recently released players.

The cutdown from 90 men, which now happens in one fell swoop at the end of the preseason, always results in a few surprises. The decisions offer some insight into how the organization operates and what it values.

This year's had a few:

* The Lions kept six receivers, two more than they have in recent years at times. That meant holding on to fewer defenders for Matt Patricia's multiple defense. Brandon Powell and Bradley Marquez made the cut over Jace Billingsley.
