Poll: When should the Detroit Lions draft a running back?

The search for a running back has persisted in Detroit since the days of Barry Sanders, and it's been an especially huge problem ever since drafting Matthew Stafford. The No. 1 pick in the 2009 draft has played with seven 100-yard rushers in nine seasons. That's the same number that Dak Prescott played with on the Cowboys in his rookie season alone in 2016.

No Detroit back has broken 100 yards in a game in four years, though the Lions will remind everyone that they are a passing team that splits carries. Even still, last year's dead-last finish in yards per game and yards per rush didn't sit well.
