With the 16th overall pick in the 2016 draft, the Lions selected offensive tackle Taylor Decker from Ohio State. The 6-foot-7, 310-pound Decker will presumably slot in at right tackle for the Lions while Riley Reiff stays at left tackle, but Decker played on the left side for the Buckeyes the past two seasons after starting at right tackle in 2013.
For a while Thursday night, it looked like the Lions might have a chance at a dream pick as Laremy Tunsil from Ole Miss, the top offensive tackle in the draft, continued to slide following a social media post showing him smoking out of a bong with a gas mask.
