The Detroit Lions are playing and planning for 2016.
It doesn’t say that on the calendar, where today is Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 – a historic day in some ways. It’s the start of a new era in Lions football, as players and coaches end a bye week that became a good-bye week to the environment they knew a distant week ago and resume practice for the rest of the season.
And it doesn’t say 2016 on the 2015 schedule, which lists the last eight games on this lost season, starting with the annual beat-down in Green Bay Sunday.
