WATFORD, England –The Lions shouldn’t need any motivation other than to be sick of losing, or realizing that even more changes no doubt are coming if they don’t turn their season around starting Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Job security for players and coaches is based on performance, and nothing makes people more secure than winning.
The Lions haven’t done much winning this year, as their 1-6 record shows, and the firing on Monday of offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and assistants Jeremiah Washburn and Terry Heffernan should put everyone on notice that people are accountable for performance.
