O'HARA'S FINAL THOUGHTS: Six things Lions must do

GREEN BAY– Mel Gray’s memory of a glorious moment frozen in time in the arctic environment of Lambeau Field can be an inspiration and lesson on how a role player can be a star performer as the Lions seek to end their NFL record road losing streak to the Packers.

Gray was a special specialist when the Lions needed him most in Game 15 against the Packers in 1991. His production matched his resume as the preeminent return man of the 1990s -- first-team All-Pro three times, and Pro Bowls as a Lion from 1990-94.

On a blustery day when the wind chill never got above minus 18 degrees, Gray laughs now about spending most of the day complaining on the sidelines about being cold.
