The 2015 season wasn’t all good for the Detroit Lions. That’s obvious by their record – 7-9, with a 1-7 start.
It wasn’t all bad, either. That’s obvious, too, by their record in the second half. They went 6-2 and started the second half of the season with a road victory over the Green Bay Packers.
The final record stands on its own as the benchmark of the season. As Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells said often, “You are what your records says you are.”
Looking back, the Lions’ record could have been better, and it could have been worse.
