ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell said "nothing new has popped up" with quarterback Matthew Stafford's injured throwing hand, which caused him to miss his first meaningful snaps since 2015.
Stafford had his hand stepped on in the fourth quarter of a 44-20 loss to Baltimore, putting Jake Rudock into the game for nine snaps, Rudock's first-ever NFL snaps. Caldwell said Stafford is "sore right about now."
It's not clear how much Stafford's injury could affect him throwing the ball.
