Notes: Lions’ QB Jared Goff part of group bidding to bring WNBA to Detroit

While the chants may cool off for a while (maybe it’s time to give it a little break anyways), Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff continues to endear himself to the city. This time by being part of the group that is bidding to bring a WNBA team back to the city of Detroit.

Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press has the story, and coincidentally—asked Goff about the possibility of NFL ownership back in October.

“No. Not right now,” Goff said at the time. “Maybe 20 years from now, 30 years from but not right now.
