Kristen Jordan Shamus of the Detroit Free Press has a great article on former Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy and what he’s up to since his NFL career ended. Levy and his wife, Desiré Vincent Levy, are continuing the activism that made Levy such a beloved and polarizing character among fans.
The two commissioned a mural in Eastern Market depicting a strong visual regarding sexual assault victims and encouraging them, and the people in their lives, to speak out and listen to one another.
Levy has long been speaking out against sexual assault.
