The running back was placed on injured reserve in September due to a leg injury when the team signed Adrian Peterson. After working his way back from IR to practices in October, Scarbrough lasted just a week on Detroit’s active roster before the Lions outright released him. For the only game he was eligible to play in—Week 7 against the Falcons—he was one of six players on the Lions’ inactive list.
