Zach Zenner is about as tough as they come.
The Lions rookie running back was at the team’s practice facility Friday getting bandages replaced and stopped to talk to reporters less than a week after having a chest tube inserted to inflate a collapsed lung and suffering five different fractures in four ribs in last week’s win over Chicago.
“I’ll probably be up and running around next week,” Zenner said. “It’s all whatever (pain) I can handle. There’s nothing you can do. None of my ribs were displaced.
“Pain level is very minimal.
