Tim Wright has been in this spot before.
Wright's been traded twice over the last 12 months; first from Tampa Bay to New England a week before the regular season began in 2014, and now one year later he’s in the same spot after Tampa Bay traded him once again, this time to Detroit.
The Lions traded for Wright Monday, sending backup kicker Kyle Brindza to Tampa Bay in return.
Wright, a receiver turned tight end, has caught 80 passes for 830 yards and 11 touchdowns the last two seasons in Tampa Bay and New England.
