Darius Slay was asked Wednesday to name the top receivers – not on his team – currently playing in the NFL.
His top three were: Antonio Brown, Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr.
There are plenty of intriguing storylines and matchups to watch when Detroit travels to New York to take on the Giants Sunday. Matthew Stafford’s injured middle finger, and both teams jockeying for playoff positioning are chief among them, but the potential matchup between Slay and Beckham is high up on the list too.
Both Slay, 25, and Beckham, 24, are considered among the bright young talents at their respective positions.
