Not much has gone right on offense for the Lions since about halftime Week 1 in San Diego.
Through five games they’re 30th in scoring (16.6), 26th overall (321.4) and last running the football (49.0). Quarterback Matthew Stafford isn’t playing well, and offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi is under fire.
The Lions know if they have any chance of climbing out of an 0-5 hole, it’ll start with fixing their offensive woes.
To that point, every player on offense, the entire offensive coaching staff and head coach Jim Caldwell went over every offensive play in a meeting Monday.
