The Detroit Lions offensive line has played much better of late. A big part of that turnaround in recent weeks has been the steadiness and consistency Michael Ola has brought to the right tackle position.
Before Ola took over starting duties vs. Oakland Week 11, the Lions had a revolving door at right tackle and an open turnstile for defenders to quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The Lions have found a solution in Ola, who has a 5.1 grade over the past two games by Pro Football Focus. He has allowed just two pressures his last three games.
So when he went down with a knee injury at the end of the third quarter Thursday night, Lions fans held their collective breaths.
