NOTEBOOK: Lions suffer several injuries vs. Chiefs

Calvin Johnson’s second catch Sunday, a 17-yarder in the second quarter, put him over 11,000 yards for his career and made him the fastest player to reach the mark. He did it in 127 games. Torry Holt did it in 131.

Johnson’s last reception of the game, a 30-yard grab down the left sideline in the fourth quarter, might have been a costly one for the Lions.

Johnson injured his ankle on the play and did not return to the game. Head coach Jim Caldwell didn’t have any updates on Johnson’s status after the game. Johnson was still limping hours after the contest.
