NOTEBOOK: Injuries pile up in Seattle

Monday night’s 13-10 loss in Seattle was tough enough just in the way it ended for the Lions, but they also headed back to Detroit a banged up bunch.

Starting defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker suffered a “significant” leg injury that appears to be season ending.

“Walker’s is significant, there’s no question about that,” head coach Jim Caldwell said after the game. “I don’t anticipate the doctors have to look at him, that kind of thing, but it is pretty significant. The rest of them, we’ll have to see, but we’ve got a few guys banged up.”

That list also includes tight end Eric Ebron (knee), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (calf) and linebacker Travis Lewis (ankle).
