NOTEBOOK: Injuries pile up in loss to Titans

The Detroit Lions injury report for this upcoming week has the potential to be quite extensive.

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle), running back Ameer Abdullah (foot), linebacker Antwione Williams (thigh) and linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf) all left Sunday’s 16-15 loss to the Titans due to injury and did not return.

Lions head coach Jim Caldwell had no update on the status of any of those players immediately after the game.

Ansah was lost after injuring himself early in the first quarter on the last play of the Titans’ first possession.
