DETROIT -- Not again.
Four years after the refs picked up a flag for pass interference against Dallas in the playoffs, they did it again Thursday in Detroit's 23-16 loss against Chicago. And given that the Bears scored a touchdown on the play, the decision proved decisive in the seven-point loss.
With less than a minute to go in the first half and the Bears sitting on Detroit's 10-yard line, running back Taquan Mizzell Sr. motioned slot left. Lions linebacker Christian Jones picked him up in coverage -- but then ran right into what was effectively a pick by receiver Allen Robinson.
