Gameday is here, and the Detroit Lions’ future may hold in the balance of Sunday’s events. With the seat under head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn hotter than ever, a loss to the 1-4 Jacksonville Jaguars is nothing short of unacceptable. All is quiet from Lions owner Sheila Ford Hamp, so it’s unclear how eager she’d be to make a midseason change, but the pressure would sure be on should Detroit lose this week.
But with their next seven games all looking winnable, this game could also prove to be the start of a big rebound for the Lions.
