Two Detroit Lions players were fined by the league due to actions committed in the first two weeks of the season on Saturday. Linebacker Jamie Collins Sr. was fined $35,096 by the league for making contact with a referee in Week 1, an act that saw him disqualified from the game. Guard Oday Aboushi was fined for the amount of $5,221 for an unnecessary roughness call he received in Week 2.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Collins is appealing his fine.
