In somewhat shocking news, the Detroit Lions have decided to completely part ways with Eric Ebron. After going a couple weeks without finding at trade partner. The Lions have simply cut the former first-round pick:

The move will end up saving the Lions $8.25 million in cap space, but will leave Detroit with a gaping hole at tight end.
