ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions' perfect attendance didn't last long.
After opening Week 1 with a clean bill of healthy, Detroit lost defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois on Friday because of illness. The club also listed offensive lineman Andrew Donnal as limited by a knee injury.
On the bright side, Francois has an extra day to regain his strength because of the long week. Detroit opens the season on Monday night against the Jets.
Francois didn't sign with the club until the week training camp opened, but has been so impressive that he's already worked his way into the starting rotation.
