The Detroit Lions continued to bolster its defense in the NFL draft on Friday.
First, they selected cornerback Jeff Okudah No. 3 overall. Then in Round 3, they picked Notre Dame defensive end Julian Okwara at No. 67.

Brotherly love
Okwara's older brother, Romeo, plays defensive end for the Lions, totaling 42 tackles and nine sacks in 29 games for Detroit. Romeo, too, played at Notre Dame, however, he went undrafted in 2016 before spending two years with the New York Giants. They are now the fifth set of brothers on the same NFL team, joining the Jets' Terrell and Trey Edmunds, Seattle's Shaquem and Shaquill Griffin, New England's Devin and Jason McCourty and Pittsburgh's TJ and Derek Watt.
