New DE Armonty Bryant vows to clean up PED act

New Detroit Lions defensive end Armonty Bryant said he has spoken with the team’s front office about cleaning up his act after being suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

“Quite a bit,” Bryant said today. “That’s my goal. Clean up my act a little bit. But that’s just the past. I’m just here to help the team win.”

The Lions claimed Bryant off waivers Tuesday, after the Cleveland Browns cut him Monday, the day his suspension ended. Bryant, a fourth-year player, had 5 1/2 sacks as an outside linebacker last season.
