When Ndamukong Suh hit free agency for the second time, he wasn't looking for another long-term contract. What he wanted was a place where he could get to the playoffs again, like he last did before he ever became a free agent, back with the 2014 Lions.
Suh was formally introduced Friday as the newest star member of the dream team the Rams are building, and he gave respect to that 2014 Detroit team, calling it the best he's played on in his eight-year pro career.
The 2014 Lions were indeed a talented bunch. They finished 11-5 and reached the playoffs, but it's the players on the team and the painful way it ended that tell more about the potential it had.
